Donatos & Cheryl’s® Sweetness of the Holidays Returns Benefitting Nationwide Children’s Hospital

December 4, 2017

Donatos Pizza and Cheryl’s Cookies have once again partnered this Holiday season in an effort to support life-saving research and care at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The Sweetness of the Holidays campaign began Nov. 14 and will run until Jan. 8, 2018.

For the fourth-consecutive year, patrons of the Columbus-based pizzeria will have an opportunity to purchase Cheryl’s signature buttercream frosted cut-out gourmet cookies for $1 each. The cookies will be packaged in special Nationwide Children’s wrapping and patrons will notice the hospital’s iconic blue butterfly complemented by the recognized Cheryl’s script.

Additionally, Pepsi will donate 50 cents to Nationwide Children’s when customers purchase a 20-ounce bottle of Aquafina water at participating central Ohio Donatos locations.

New in 2017, customers also will have an option to purchase cookies and donate online at donatos.com.

“On behalf of all the patients and families and staff here at Nationwide Children’s, we are extremely grateful for the continued giving spirit of both Donatos and Cheryl’s cookies, especially during the Holiday Season,” said Niki Shafer, senior vice president, outreach, Nationwide Children’s Hospital. “This relationship with Donatos and Cheryl’s provides the hospital additional opportunities to provide world-class healthcare and research to children everywhere.”
