Tween Clothing Retailer Justice Launches Holiday Campaign That Will Support Life-Saving Research at Nationwide Childrens Hospital

November 1, 2016

For the first time in the three-year corporate partnership between Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Justice, the tween clothing retailer will invite customers to give a donation to the pediatric hospital during the holiday season. The “Wish and Wonder” national campaign will raise funds for The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s from Nov. 1-Jan. 7, 2017.

As they have done so generously during the previous “Give Hope” spring campaigns, Justice customers will have the opportunity to donate to Nationwide Children’s at the register at over 950 stores in the United States and Canada.

“Children come to Nationwide Children’s Hospital from all 50 U.S. states and more than forty countries worldwide,” said Jim Digan, President of Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation. “We are so excited to expand our campaign with Justice into Canada this year. The company has shown an admirable dedication to our mission of helping children everywhere. We couldn’t do what we do without Justice.”

When it can be an especially challenging time to be in the hospital, Justice customers, as well as patient family and friends, can help brighten the days of Nationwide Children’s patients by sending e-cards with a special holiday message.

Furthermore, the tween retailer will provide customers a chance to leave words of encouragement on a Snowflake Card to be delivered to patients at Nationwide Children’s. These Snowflake Cards will be collected from all Justice stores across the United States and can be used to decorate patient rooms and serve as greetings on food delivery trays.

“Our commitment to the health and well-being of children is a priority,” said Lece Lohr, President of Justice. “This holiday campaign was specifically developed to engage our tween customer. We know her, we care about her, and we want the best for her. We also know she cares about others. It’s a great example of our associates and customers uniting to support the tremendous services Nationwide Children’s provides.”

Justice recently launched a “Girls with Heart” ambassador program. These young ladies from around the country are active, smart, creative, and join together to prove that all girls can make a positive difference. “Girls with Heart” share their unique stories through regular video content featured on the Justice YouTube channel illustrating how they Live Justice every day.

Justice’s spring national store campaign, “Give Hope,” raised more than $520,000 during a six-week period. In three years since the spring “Give Hope” campaign was launched, the
specialty retailer has raised more than $1.5 million dollars for Nationwide Children’s. In all, more than 900 Justice retail stores across the country participated in the campaign this past February and March.
