Nationwide Childrens Hospital to Host 2014 Franklin County Candidates Forum on Children and Youth October 17

Nationwide Children’s Hospital will host the 2014 Candidates Forum on Children and Youth Friday, October 17 in the Ann Isaly Wolfe Education Building at Nationwide Children’s in Stecker Auditorium, located at 575 S. 18th St., Columbus 43205. The public is invited to attend this event as well as a free networking breakfast which begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program, which will begin at 8:15 a.m.

The public will have the opportunity to hear candidates share their views on issues such as children’s health, education and at-risk youth. Invited candidates include those for the Governor’s Office, Secretary of State and Treasurer’s Office and anyone running for election within Franklin County in November.

The event, a non-partisan education forum, is sponsored by CareSource, KidsOhio.org, Voices for Ohio’s Children, Paramount Advantage and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and supported by numerous community organizations. It will be moderated by Kristyn Hartman of WBNS-10, Columbus affiliate of CBS. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP.
