Dairy Queen Hosting DQ Miracle Treat Day Thursday

August 12, 2014

Raise your spoons and gather your friends to celebrate DQ Miracle Treat Day on August 14, when all proceeds from Dairy Queen Blizzard sales at participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill stores around the country directly benefit 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, including Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

The featured Miracle Treat Day “Blizzard of the Day” will be Oreo®, which is still the most popular Blizzard Treat to date. The Blizzard of the Month for August, the new Chips Ahoy! Blizzard Treat which is a mix of Chips Ahoy! chocolate chip cookies, chocolaty topping, choco chunks and creamy vanilla soft serve, as well as all other Blizzard Treat flavors, also are available on Miracle Treat Day.

The Dairy Queen system is celebrating a 30-year partnership with CMN Hospitals like Nationwide Children’s. Last year central Ohio restaurants raised more than $30,000 for local sick and injured kids.
