Mary Rutan Hospital is proud to be partnering with Nationwide Children’s Hospital to bring additional resources and care to pediatric and neonatal patients.
The collaboration offers increased access for area residents to Nationwide Children’s Hospital pediatric specialists and extends state-of-the-art pediatric research and clinical trials. In addition, Mary Rutan Hospital physicians receive advanced education and training as well as direct consultation with specialists at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

Mary Rutan Hospital’s physician and nursing teams will collaborate on protocol development, education initiatives, neonatal nursery telemedicine support and clinic development. As part of the affiliation, MRH will be able to directly consult with specialists at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Mary Rutan Hospital’s medical staff will also benefit from training and mentoring programs as well as state-of-the-art pediatric research and clinical trials.

In addition to the new partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Mary Rutan Hospital Pediatrics is undergoing a large expansion and remodeling of their Dowell Avenue facility that will more than double the size of their space. The new facility space will offer increased waiting areas, new equipment, additional treatment rooms, extended evening and morning hours and flexible walk-in options throughout the day. Over the past year, Mary Rutan Hospital Pediatrics has grown to include four physicians and four nurse practitioners.
