2010 BIA Parade of Homes July 24 to August 8

July 14, 2010

The 2010 Parade of Homes, presented by the Building Industry Association (BIA) of central Ohio, will run Saturday, July 24 through Sunday, August 8 at Ackerly Park in New Albany.

This year, M/I Homes will serve as the BIA Foundation House with a portion of its proceeds benefitting Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Members of TWIG, a women’s auxiliary group of Nationwide Children’s, will serve as hostesses at the Foundation House and Tuckerman Homes.

The community will present a distinctly urban lifestyle due to its proximity to the Village Center District. Within walking distance to the library, The McCoy Center for the Arts, New Albany Schools, the New Albany Country Club, parks, places of worship and Market Square shops, Ackerly Park will showcase the latest in technology and energy efficiency options available.

TWIG also will sell raffle tickets during the Parade. Raffle items include two tickets to OSU vs. Michigan football game; Closets by Design $1,000 gift certificate; Pandora bracelet from Meyers Jewelers; Spa Day from Michael’s Salon; and a Buckeye Cruise for Cancer for two.

Raffle tickets can be purchased by calling Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation
(614) 355-0810 or by visiting www.NationwideChildrens.org/TWIG. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10. The drawing will be held on Sunday, August 8 – ticket holders need not be present to win.

Attendees are also welcome to the Preview Party on Friday, July 23. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the BIA at (614) 891-0575.
