Sunny 95 Marathon Raises Nearly $282,000 for Nationwide Childrens Hospital

Recently, Dino Tripodis and Shawn Ireland, hosts of Sunny 95s Dino & Shawn in the Morning, broadcasted live from Nationwide Childrens Hospital for the Sunny 95 Marathon. This years radio marathon, held September 16-18, raised nearly $282,000 for the Sunshine Fund at Nationwide Childrens, which benefits areas of greatest need at the hospital.

More than 150 volunteers from the community participated by answering phones and taking pledges on the volunteer phone bank. The highlight of the three-day event came during the numerous current and former patients stories that captured the hearts of all involved, listeners, generous donors and volunteers alike.
