Twenty Pizza Shops Help Celebrate 20 Years of Slice of Columbus

Slice of Columbus is back for its 20th year as Columbus largest pizza event slated from 5 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9 at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion. Twenty area pizza shops will dish up their most savory pies and will be judged by a panel of local celebrities and chefs in the battle to be named Best of Columbus.

Slice of Columbus is organized by the Development Board of Nationwide Childrens Hospital with all proceeds benefiting the hospital. Since its inception two decades ago, Slice of Columbus has raised $600,000 for Nationwide Childrens.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sample unlimited pizza while voting for their favorite. Local pizza shops, in addition to competing for the Judges Award for the best pie in town, will compete for the most patron votes in the coveted Peoples Choice Award category. Shucking Bubba will provide entertainment, and activities for children will be on site.
