Downtown Sertoma Club Hosts 1st Annual Golf Outing

The Downtown Sertoma Club will host its first annual golf outing Monday, September 8, 2008 starting at 11 a.m. at the Ballantrae Golf Course in Dublin. All proceeds will benefit the Speech and Hearing Departments at Nationwide Childrens Hospital.

 

With a four-person scramble format, registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a shot gun start at 1:00 p.m. Registration fees are $460 for a foursome team, $250 for a hole sponsor and $625 for a hole sponsor with a foursome team. The day will be filled with contests and prizes such as the longest drive, craziest golf outfit and a 50/50 raffle. The outing will be followed with a dinner as well as an award ceremony to conclude the day.

 

The Downtown Sertoma Club is a local chapter of Sertoma International. Sertoma is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to SERvice TO MAnkind. Sertomas primary service project is assisting the more than 50 million people with speech, hearing and language disorders. The Downtown Club works hard to support this mission through a variety of community projects including their support of the Speech and Hearing Departments at Nationwide Childrens Hospital.
