2007 BIA Parade of Homes to Run June 9-24

April 25, 2007

The 2007 Parade of Homes, presented by the Building Industry Association (BIA) of central Ohio, will run from Saturday, June 9 to Sunday, June 24 at Pinnacle in Grove City, Ohio. Lakeside Construction, LLC is this year’s BIA Foundation House, with a portion of its proceeds designated to Columbus Children’s Hospital. Members of TWIGs, a women’s auxiliary group of Children’s Hospital, will serve as hostesses at the Foundation House and other homes during the 2007 Parade.

The Remodelors’ Council of the BIA has donated four life-size playhouses to the TWIGs, which will be raffled during the Parade of Homes. All funds raised from the raffle will directly benefit patient care, research and education at Children’s Hospital.

Raffle tickets may be purchased by calling Children’s Hospital Foundation (614) 722-2991. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10. The drawings for playhouses will take place on Sunday, June 24, and ticket holders need not be present to win. Pictures of each of the donated playhouses may be viewed online or in person during the event. For more information on the 2007 Parade of Homes, visit www.biahomebuilders.com.

TWIGs (Together With Important Goals) of Columbus Children’s Hospital have worked since 1916 to support the hospital’s mission to provide the highest quality medical care for all children, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. TWIGs members volunteer for Children’s in numerous ways throughout the year. If you would like more information or are interested in joining a TWIG, please call Children’s Hospital Foundation (614) 722-2991.
