WHY:
The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation Family Resource Center has been named in honor of the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation commitment of $1.5 million to Columbus Childrens Hospital.
The 5000 square-feet Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation Family Resource Center is decorated in a Blue Jackets hockey theme and is open to all families with patients receiving care at Childrens. The Center offers a lounge, kitchen, laundry, exercise and breastfeeding facilities; classrooms, healthcare reference materials and internet access so that families can tend to their personal needs within the hospital setting. The Center is located adjacent to the hospital cafeteria and near the gift shop and chapel, making access to these facilities convenient for families.
