Biography

Vignesh Doraiswamy, MD, FACP, FAAP, is a physician in the Sections of Adult Hospital Medicine and Hospital Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Division of Hospital Medicine at The Ohio State University (OSU) Wexner Medical Center.

Dr. Doraiswamy specializes in taking care of hospitalized adults and children. He completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency and was the Med-Peds chief resident at Penn State Health. He is an Associate Program Director of the Med-Peds Residency and is the director of the Med-Peds track for Med-Peds trained PHM fellows at Nationwide Children's. He is also a clinical assistant professor at OSU College of Medicine where he works with medical students as a Faculty Tutor, Personal and Professional Development Coach and Applied Health Systems Science Coach. He is actively involved in medical student and resident education with interests in health equity and advocacy, health systems science, curriculum design and teaching clinical reasoning. His clinical interests include hypothermic young infants, point of care ultrasound and global health.

He was previously the quality and patient safety lead for the James Hospital service lines and an Associate Medical Director at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center's University Hospital.
