Biography

Rachel Byrne, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC, is a physical therapist in the Sports & Orthopedic Therapy Department at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Heidelberg University, where she worked with a variety of Division 3 athletes. After graduation, she attended Ohio University where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Following graduation, she completed the Nationwide Children's Hospital Orthopedic Residency Program. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and Certified Athletic Trainer. She is passionate about returning athletes of various ages and skill levels back to their highest level of competition. She is also passionate about pelvic rehab, treating female athletes, overhead athletes and volleyball players.
