Biography

Mohammed Najjar, M.D., M.H.P.E. is a physician in the Section of Hospital Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Dr. Najjar attended medical school at The University of Aleppo College of Medicine, completed pediatric residency at the University of Beirut Medical Center, and the Children’s and Women’s Hospital in the University of South Alabama. He is board certified in pediatrics, board Certified in Hospital Pediatrics and has Master’s degree in Health Profession Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Dr. Najjar’s interests focus on faculty development and curriculum building. He is the chairman of Hospital Pediatrics Faculty Development team and is leading the Nationwide Children’s Hospital team of Hospital Pediatrics (HP) on the medical education project to promote autonomy in medical learners and improve teaching on Family Centered Rounds (FCR). He serves on local and national committees for health profession education and faculty development.
