Biography

Megan Letson, MD, MEd, is the division chief of the Division of Child and Family Advocacy, program director of the Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship Program, and medical director of The Center for Family Safety and Healing at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She is also a Professor of clinical pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Additionally, as part of her interest in medical education, Dr. Letson has a master's degree in education through the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Letson is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Ohio Chapter Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect and serves on several national committees, including the Education and Program Director Committees of the Ray Helfer Society. She has held several national leadership roles, including past chairs of the Scholar, Program, and Education Committees of the Ray Helfer Society. Dr. Letson is also appointed to the subboard on Child Abuse Pediatrics (CAP) for the American Board of Pediatrics and currently services as the subboard chair for Child Abuse Pediatrics.
