Biography

Maria D. Ash, MD, MA(Ed), is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Associate Program Director for the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She completed her Pediatric residency as well as her fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. While in fellowship, Dr. Ash obtained her Master of Arts Degree in Educational Studies from The Ohio State University. She has clinical interests in eating disorders and reproductive health. She completed the 2020-2021 Educational Research Series Cohort and from that experience produced a robust eating disorder curriculum for medical trainees, and her current research interests focus on eating disorders as well as medical education.
