Leon Favede II, MS, AT, ATC, LAT, ACSM-CPT, is an athletic trainer with Nationwide Children's Hospital Sports Medicine. He holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Waynesburg University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Otterbein University. Prior to Nationwide Children's, he was an assistant athletic trainer at Otterbein where he worked with numerous sports teams. His athletic experience, including two years of college baseball for the Cardinals, provides him with firsthand insight into the physical and mental demands of athletes. He is licensed by the state of Ohio and certified by the Board of Certification as an athletic trainer. Here at Nationwide Children's, Leon serves as an outreach athletic trainer at Reynoldsburg High School.
