Biography
Katie Plax, MD, serves as the Medical Director of Family AIDS Clinic and Education Services (FACES) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She has dedicated her career to improving the health of underserved youth in particular, including youth living with HIV. Her work integrates patient care, teaching, advocacy, and research to design responsive services, improve health and strengthen community partnerships. Dr. Plax has provided HIV clinical care and treatment for the last 25 years.
