Biography

Ellen Lubbers, MD, is a Med-Peds physician who cares for hospitalized children as a Hospital Pediatrics Attending and PICU Hospitalist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She provides family-centered care on inpatient teaching teams, supports residents as a Chief Resident, and manages critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. As Chief Resident, Dr. Lubbers works to strengthen the clinical learning environment, guiding trainees through high-acuity decision-making and promoting a culture of safety and teamwork. Her clinical interests include pediatric critical care, education about high-acuity care, and caring for children with complex medical needs.
