Dayton Children’s helped us begin the journey to finding answers, but my son’s case was too medically complex and we were referred to Nationwide Children’s.

From the moment we arrived at Nationwide Children's, they saw our son for more than just a diagnosis. His pulmonologist and care team changed his life. After getting his GJ tube and specialized pulmonary care, he began thriving in ways we never imagined possible. He started incredible gaining weight, becoming stronger, staying out of the hospital longer, and even taking longer oxygen breaks. Watching your child finally breathe easier after so much fear and uncertainty is something impossible to put into words. Nationwide Children’s gave our family hope, support, and a team that never stopped fighting for our little boy. We are very thankful for Dr. Krivchenia and the rest of pulmonary team for always answering our questions and concerns very seriously and quickly!
