Meet Taylor

Taylor has dealt with depression since she was 10 years old. She started self-harming at the age of 12.

At 13 she overdosed and with no where else to go, she came to Nationwide Children's Hospital where she was diagnosed with anxiety and PTSD. Over the years she’s had numerous inpatient stays, outpatient treatment, and most recently residential. Her diagnosis list has changed a bit but she is currently home with her parents and in outpatient counseling and psychiatry along with therapy for her eating disorder.

Taylor is now a happy and healthy 16-year-old who hasn’t self-harmed in a year thanks to Nationwide Children's.
