Meet Harper

I'll never forget how Harper's story began.

I had just started a new job and was dealing with some cramping, but I didn't think much of it. I went to the ER just to be safe... and that's when my entire world changed. I was told I was 22 weeks pregnant. I had no idea. None at all.

I was immediately transported to OSU, and just 3 days later, I gave birth to my baby girl.

Everything happened so fast.

Harper came into this world so tiny-only 450 grams-and she had to be rushed to Nationwide Children's Hospital after an emergency. Those next 5 months in the NICU were the scariest, most emotional time of my life. Every day was uncertain. Every moment felt like a fight.

But Harper fought.

She was known as "Babygirl Brown", and she proved just how strong she was from the very beginning. Through everything she went through, she never gave up.

Today, she is my living miracle.

I am forever grateful to Nationwide Children's Hospital and every single nurse and doctor who cared for my baby. You didn't just do your jobs-you helped save my daughter's life, and I will never forget that.

Harper is here. She is strong. She is loved. And she is a miracle. 💛
