Feedback from Youth Participants

What Are Youth Participants Saying About The Program?

  • “It is a truly eye-opening experience that will give you the skills of working in a professional setting. It is fun to learn and grow here. I have made valuable connections that I intend to last a lifetime.”
  • “This experience is a great way to get an in-depth introduction to whatever field you may be interested in. You get hands-on experience and see what a day may look like for someone working in that position. Additionally, you get access to so many people who want to mentor you and answer any questions you may have. I learned a lot and met a lot of amazing people.”
  • “This experience opens your mind and heart to different careers. I would still recommend this to people who have their pathway chosen. It gives you insight into people you may work with in the same building. Learning and getting a different point of view on their passions opens a new world for you.”
  • “The program allowed me the space to ensure my chosen career path was all that I thought it would be. The program also left room for me to visit other career paths that I could entertain or work alongside later on.”
  • “One word to describe this experience is boundless. It allows you to overcome what you think you can’t do and gives you a realistic feel for what you want for your work life. It also helps you get a foot in the door for whatever your career goal is.”
  • “This program exposes you to so many different careers in healthcare other than nursing and being a doctor. They work hard to align you with your career aspiration and help you explore some careers you may not have heard of or thought about.”
  • “This program connects young people entering the workforce with experienced adults and it allows students to begin growing their network to help pave their future.”
  • “This program gives you the opportunity to learn about the healthcare field in real time. It allows you to understand your likes and dislikes but also what you have a passion for.”
