Paperless Billing Information for MyChart Users

Exciting news! Starting March 1, 2023, Nationwide Children’s Hospital has transitioned to paperless billing. This means you’ll now receive your billing statements securely and conveniently through your MyChart account. 

Going paperless not only saves trees but also makes bill paying quicker and easier for our families. The choice, however, is yours. If you would like to receive paper statements, you may cancel paperless billing at any time.

View Your Electronic Billing Statements

How to View Your Electronic Billing Statements

To view your electronic billing statements, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to Your MyChart Account

    • Visit the MyChart website and log in using your credentials.
    • If you don’t have an account, you can create one by following the registration process.
  2. Access Your Menu

    • Once logged in, click “Your Menu” at the top of the homepage. This will open a dropdown menu with various options.
  3. Navigate to the Billing Section

    • Look for the “Billing” section within the menu options.
    • Click on “Billing Summary” to proceed.
  4. View Balance Details

    • In the Billing Summary section, you’ll find an overview of your account balance.
    • Click on “View Balance Details” to access more detailed information.
  5. Locate Electronic Statements

    • Within the “Communications” tab, you’ll find your electronic statements.
  6. Download or Print (if needed) 

    • If you require a physical copy, you can download or print your statements directly from the portal.
Opt Out of Paperless Billing

How to Opt Out of Paperless Billing

If you wish to opt out of paperless billing and receive paper statements instead, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Your MyChart Account

    • Visit the MyChart website and log in using your credentials.
    • If you don’t have an account, you can create one by following the registration process.
  2. Access Your Menu

    • Once logged in, click “Your Menu” at the top of the homepage. This will open a dropdown menu with various options.
  3. Navigate to the Billing Section

    • Look for the “Billing” section within the menu options.
    • Click on “Billing Summary” to proceed.
  4. Opt Out of Paperless Billing

    • At the bottom of the Billing Summary page, you’ll find the “Cancel Paperless Billing” link.
    • Click on this link to initiate the process.
  5. Receive Paper Statements

    • After canceling paperless billing, click the green “Receive Paper Statements” button.
    • Your account will now be switched over to receiving mailed paper statements.
