Cancer Genetics Clinic
At Nationwide Children’s, a multidisciplinary team has developed an approach to provide a personalized screening and treatment that helps identify children who may have a condition or family history that increases their chance of receiving a cancer diagnosis.
Because of the individualized factors involved in cancer risk, screening, and treatment, we work to develop unique treatment and monitoring plans for each patient and their family so we can help your patients stay healthy long into the future.
This approach allows our Hematology/Oncology/BMT team to:
- Identify patients at risk for inherited cancer predisposition.
- Offer genetic risk assessment, counseling and testing when appropriate.
- Develop individualized surveillance and management plans.
- Provide a venue for discussing targeted therapies (available clinically or on a research basis).
- Offer specialized psychosocial consultation to address the family impact of genetic testing and hereditary cancer.

Clinic is available on the 3rd and 5th Monday afternoons of each month on Floor H11A at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s main campus.
Patients can be scheduled through an EPIC order by searching “Cancer Predisposition Clinic.”
