  • Hands and Voices:  A parent driven, non-profit organization that provides support to families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Hearing First: Resources for families who are interested in using listening and spoken language to communicate with their child who is deaf or hard of hearing
  • Help Me Grow (Ohio): Ohio Early Intervention Program
  • My Baby's Hearing:  Resources for families including information on the universal newborn hearing screening, about hearing, hearing devices, language and learning, parenting and support, and additional resources for professionals
  • National Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Foundation: Information regarding cytomegalovirus and additional resources
  • Success For Kids: Resources for parents and professionals to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing in the classroom

Deaf and Hard of Hearing School Programs

  • AG Bell/Columbus Hearing Impaired Program: Educational program for deaf and hard of hearing students in central Ohio.  
  • Alice Cogswell Center: Preschool center focused on education of deaf and hard of hearing children as well as children with visual impairments. Serves children 3-5 years of age.
  • Ohio School for the Deaf: Ohio School for the Deaf provides education to deaf and hard of hearing students from all over Ohio from ages 3 to 22.
