COLUMBUS, Ohio – Pleasure Guild of Nationwide Children’s Hospital has announced they have changed their name to The Butterfly Guild of Nationwide Children’s Hospital. For more than 100 years the organization has raised money for the hospice and palliative care programs at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
As a celebration of their new name, the women’s group will be accepting additional members. Those interested can attend their recruitment event at the Wine Bistro in Upper Arlington on April 4th from 6-8 p.m.
Attendees can enjoy light appetizers and mingle with current members to learn more about the organization, how to get involved, and membership requirements and expectations.
The Butterfly Guild hosts several events throughout the year to raise money for the hospital. The group is known for producing Broadway-quality plays that are performed at the historic Palace Theatre in downtown Columbus. Recognized for sourcing local talent and creating intricate sets and costumes, the most recent performance, The Little Mermaid, was a sold out show.
