The 8th Annual Columbus Food Truck Festival on the Scioto Mile

Columbus Duck Race part of annual two-day festivities

COLUMBUS, OHIO– America’s largest food truck festival and the Development Board of Nationwide Children’s Hospital are again joining forces on the Scioto Mile. The Columbus Food Truck Festival and the annual Columbus Duck Race, which is launched by the development board, will take over Bicentennial Park.

The Columbus Food Truck Festival will be held Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 18 at Bicentennial Park from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Columbus Food Truck Festival is a two-day event featuring more than 70 of the best food trucks in Ohio, as well as music and family fun for all ages.

Whether you’re just looking for a great way to spend an afternoon or evening, a food lover eager to taste a delicious mix of the best food trucks, trailers and carts in Ohio or a music fan looking to experience the sounds of local and national recording artists perform live, The Columbus Food Truck Festival is one event that offers something for everyone.

The 7th Annual Columbus Duck Race begins at 11 a.m. Aug. 18. The event will include a variety of children’s activities, kid’s entertainment and will culminate with a massive splash of thousands of rubber ducks. Proceeds from the Duck Race benefit pediatric research at Nationwide Children’s.

One lucky winner of the victorious duck will win $5,000. The runner-up prize is $2,500 and the third-place finisher will take home $1,000.

Ducks can be purchased online until midnight Thursday, Aug. 16 at ColumbusDuckRace.com. Ducks also will be available for purchase at the Food Truck Festival from 5-9 p.m. Aug. 17 and 11 a.m. 5 p.m. Aug. 18.
