Covelli Enterprises And Nationwide Children's Hospital Cut Ribbon At Panera Bread Location Friday

Colton Meier, Panera Bread Director of Operations, Dr. Steve Allen, Nationwide Children’s Hospital Chief Executive Officer and Jim Digan, Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation President will cut the ribbon at a formal event this Friday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the new Panera Bread location at 611 E. Livingston Avenue across from the main hospital.

The new café opened its doors on December 13, 2016. Covelli Enterprises, the largest franchisee of Panera Bread, currently operates more than 300 Panera Bread locations in six states and in Canada including 45 in Central Ohio.

“We couldn’t be more proud of our relationship with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, so we are thrilled to expand it with a location on the main hospital’s campus,” said Sam Covelli, Owner/Operator of Covelli Enterprises. “We look forward to providing healthy food options in a clean, warm and welcoming environment for all Nationwide Children’s Hospital doctors, staff, and patients and continuing our support of the wonderful work being done at the hospital.”

Covelli Enterprises is proud to partner with NCH on many fundraising efforts, including sponsoring the Angel Mile of the Columbus Marathon. The Angel Mile honors children patients who have lost their lives. Covelli Enterprises has been a long-time supporter of the Memorial Tournament’s Bears for Children’s program. The company also collects funds for NCH at the registers of its Central Ohio Panera Bread locations as part of its Operation Dough-Nation program. Covelli Enterprises will be presenting a check to Nationwide Children’s Hospital for $50,000 from the 2016 fundraising efforts.
