TWIG III, an auxiliary of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, invites the public to its 14th annual Westy Open Paddle Tennis Tournament and Post Party presented by The Rockbridge Group and the Crane Group on Saturday, February 28. All proceeds from the event benefit the Behavioral Health Program at Nationwide Children’s.
Participants will have the opportunity to compete in an all-day, co-ed paddle tennis tournament held at multiple locations throughout Columbus. Depending on skill-level, players will be assigned to play at Columbus Country Club, Elysium Tennis Club, New Albany Country Club, Rocky Fork Hunt Club, and Worthington Hills Country Club. All skill-levels are welcome.
The Westy Open Post Party will be held following the day of play. The evening is graciously hosted by The Fox in the Snow Café and will be held 6 – 9 p.m. on February 28 at the Short North location, 1031 North Fourth Street, Columbus, Ohio 43201. The post party is a fun, casual evening with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and sounds provided by DJ Patrick.

TWIG of Nationwide Children’s Hospital are groups of women throughout central Ohio who dedicate their time and talent in support of the hospital. Since their inception in 1916, TWIG has raised more than $28 million to support patient care, education and research at Nationwide Children’s. The women of TWIG believe in the mission of providing the highest quality care to all children and families regardless of their ability to pay.
Today, more than 1,000 active members are working to continue the TWIG legacy through a variety of fundraising efforts such as the annual TWIG Bazaar, the sale of holiday cards and greetings program, BIA Parade of Homes, the Women’s Division of The Memorial Tournament and the many projects and events coordinated by more than 60 individual TWIG groups throughout central Ohio.
