July 2, 2014

Fresh fruits, vegetables and other healthy foods are being made available for employees, community residents and visitors at four Farmers’ Markets hosted by Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The first Farmers’ Market will be held on Tuesday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Livingston Park, 760 E. Livingston Ave, Columbus.

“The Nationwide Children’s Hospital Employee Wellness program invites all surrounding communities to our annual Farmers’ Markets,” said Kari DuBro, Nationwide Children's Hospital Manager of Employee Wellness. “Our goal is to encourage our employees and local residents to eat and shop healthy.  Our markets provide the opportunity to buy fresh, nutritious, and locally grown fruits and vegetables while supporting central Ohio growers.”
