Nationwide Childrens Hospital Asks: Whats Your Favorite Thing about the Holidays?

December 3, 2013

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, also known nationally as “Giving Tuesday,” Nationwide Children’s Hospital launches a two-week social media campaign aimed to raise donations for the hospital during this Holiday season.

As part of the campaign, Nationwide Children’s asks the community what their favorite thing is about the Holidays. Is it the snow, baking cookies, wrapping presents, building snowmen, sipping hot chocolate by the fire, spending time with your family? Whatever your favorite Holiday thing may be, snap a picture of it!

Now through Tuesday, Dec. 17, Nationwide Children’s asks those ‘Holiday favorites’ photos be uploaded to Twitter and/or Instagram using the hashtag #NCHFavorites. Every time a photo is uploaded with that hashtag, Simple Bath Ohio will donate $5 to Nationwide Children’s up to $5,000. That can double to $10 from Simple Bath Ohio if participants “claim” their photo – which they will be prompted to do after posting with the #NCHFavorites hashtag. It’s a fun and easy way to give to Nationwide Children’s this Holiday season!

A donation to Nationwide Children’s is a very powerful thing. It stays right here in central Ohio and supports the family-centered care the hospital provides, the cutting-edge pediatric research it conducts and the recruitment of the best physicians. While patients may travel across the country and around the world to Nationwide Children’s for care, the donations stay right here at home.
