Nationwide Children’s Hospital sees nearly 1 million patient visits every year. With a history of support, Kroger will present a $460,959.82 check to further Nationwide Children’s efforts to provide the highest quality of care for all children regardless of their ability to pay. Of this amount, $200,000 represents a Kroger match.
Check presentation will coincide with the dedication of the family lounge in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at Nationwide Children’s, which is being named in honor of Kroger to recognize the grocer’s continuing support. Families will find respite in the comfortably appointed lounge as their child recovers from heart surgery in a nearby patient room.
