Nationwide Childrens Hospital Opens New Close To Home Center in Springfield

Nationwide Children’s Hospital recently opened a new Close To HomeSM Center in Springfield, OH. Effective August 1, 2012, the new facility will feature ChildLab laboratory services with extended hours and pediatric specialty clinics.

Located at 1644 N. Limestone Street, the building will house one-day per week Pulmonary, Endocrinology and ENT Clinics with additional services to be announced. The former Springfield ChildLab at 2624 Lexington Avenue has relocated to this new site.

Nationwide Children’s Close To HomeSM Centers offer community-based testing, treatment and care for children and families depending on the needs of the community at convenient locations. ChildLab staff are specially trained in pediatric phlebotomy and are able to conduct a full range of laboratory tests which are sent to Nationwide Children’s for analysis in order to maintain high quality diagnostic care.
