TWIG Bazaar Slated for November 13 at Ohio Expo Center

October 24, 2011

In its 89th year, the TWIG Bazaar is back and offers attendees the opportunity to purchase unique, handcrafted gifts created by TWIG members with all proceeds benefitting the Rehabilitation Unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The Bazaar will be held 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Lausche Building located inside the Ohio Expo Center.

As the largest, single-day event hosted by TWIG, a volunteer group of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the Bazaar features handmade items including jewelry, holiday ornaments and decorations and much more. In addition, the Bazaar features a ‘mini’ festival of trees display with the trees available for purchase, a silent auction, pictures with Santa and delicious treats.

Last year, the TWIG Bazaar welcomed more than 3,000 shoppers and raised more than $65,000 for Nationwide Children’s.

Admission to the Bazaar is free. Patrons can purchase an early shopping pass for $25 which allows attendees to enter the Bazaar at 9 a.m. and purchase items prior to the doors opening to the general public. Visit to purchase an early shopping pass, or call Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation at (614) 355-0888.
