Susan L. Watson, NNP

Susan Watson MS, APRN, NNP-BC is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Nationwide Children's Hospital in the C4B/C4C NICU. She obtained her BSN at the Ohio State University in 1989 and joined the staff as an RN. She completed the Nationwide Children's NNP certification program and was certified through the National Certification Corporation in 1998. Susan completed her Master of Science from The Ohio State University in 1999. She is a member of the Academy of Neonatal Nurses and the National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. Susan is a member of the NNP practice council and the scheduling committee. She is also a Safety Coach, providing reinforcement and feedback on use of the Zero Hero safety tools. Susan lectures for the Comprehensive Nursing Care of Sick Newborns through the Perinatal Outreach Program. She is a frequent preceptor of NNP students and new employees. Susan's clinical interests include care of the surgical neonate.
