Biography
Shama Patel, MD, MPH, holds a dual appointment both in the Division of Neonatology and Clinical Informatics. Her goal is to combine her passion for the care of the smallest, most critically ill patients with her interests in technology and specifically the Electronic Medical Record to improve care delivery and provider satisfaction. Within informatics her focus is in applied clinical informatics, specifically workflow optimization and efficiency.
