Mitchel R. Stacy, PhD, is a Principal Investigator in the Center for Regenerative Medicine and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His research interests are broadly focused on multimodality imaging techniques for cardiovascular applications, as well as the development and validation of quantitative image analysis tools. Dr. Stacy's research utilizes the hybrid imaging modalities SPECT/CT and PET/CT, as well as MRI, CT angiography, and ultrasound. Specific imaging focused research has been directed at the non-invasive assessment of myocardial infarction, diabetes, skeletal muscle perfusion and oxygenation, vascular remodeling (arteriogenesis and angiogenesis) and tissue-engineered vascular grafts.
