Biography

Megan Coe, MD, FAAP, is a physician in the Section of Hospital Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She serves as the Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship and as the Director of Interprofessional Simulation Education for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Her interests are primarily in medical education and professional identity development including the use of simulation and innovative learning techniques to teach teaming in the healthcare environment and the impact of this training on patient safety and patient and caregiver experiences.

Dr. Coe attended medical school at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. She completed both her pediatric residency and pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University and is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
