Mai-Lan Ho, MD, is director of Radiology Research, director of the Advanced Neuroimaging Core, chair of the Asian Pacific American Network, and clinical associate professor of Radiology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ho completed her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at Stanford University, graduate training at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and medical school at Washington University in St. Louis. She then pursued a diagnostic radiology residency in the Scholar’s Track at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, with mini-fellowships in body MRI and musculoskeletal radiology. Following pediatric and head/neck imaging experience at Boston Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Dr. Ho completed her neuroradiology training and a chief fellowship in pediatric neuroradiology at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Ho is a principal investigator and co-investigator funded by multiple foundation, industry, and federal research grants. She is the lead author of the textbook Neuroradiology Signs and has editorial experience with major journals, as well as multiple scientific abstracts and publications. Dr. Ho also holds committee appointments in several subspecialty organizations and is highly active in global medical outreach. Her society recognitions include the Anne G.
