Leah Braswell, MD, is a Pediatric Interventional Radiologist at Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Associate Director for Education in the Nationwide Children’s Department of Radiology.
She previously served as the Director of Pediatric Interventional Radiology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, the Vice Chief of the Department of Pediatric Radiology at ACH, and the Associate Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. While at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, she was the Imaging Director for the Vascular Anomalies Center of Excellence. She is fellowship trained in Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Braswell is an active member of the Society for Pediatric Interventional Radiology (SPIR) Board of Directors. She has board leadership roles in the Education, Communication, and Scientific committees of the Society.
Her clinical interests include the evaluation and treatment of all types of vascular anomalies in children and adults, including venous malformation, lymphatic malformation (including orbit), and complex syndromes. Dr. Braswell has additional expertise in the Interventional Radiology treatment of aneurysmal bone cysts (ABC) and sclerotherapy for hypersalivation. She maintains long-term relationships with patients and families, believing that this is the most important aspect of her professional life.
