Biography

 

Lana Dennison, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a Clinical Lead for Clinical Therapies Behavioral Health. Lana has been a Speech-Language Pathologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital since 2018. She has previous experience providing direct patient care within scholarship school settings serving children with autism and other developmental disorders, mental health outpatient settings, and outpatient settings with a broader pediatric caseload. Lana has specialization in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), childhood apraxia of speech evaluation and treatment, behavioral health, as well as early intervention.

As a Clinical Lead for Clinical Therapies Behavioral Health, Lana oversees Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and therapeutic aide staff, as well as provides direct patient care within the Early Childhood Mental Health program.

Lana graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science with a minor in Disability Studies. She graduated from Miami University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She is a current member of The American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
