Janet Elaine McClaskey, AT, ATC

Janet McClaskey, AT, ATC, is the Operations Manager for Sports Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, bringing over two decades of dedicated leadership and clinical expertise to the role. Janet’s deep-rooted history with Nationwide Children’s began in 2006 when she joined the team as a physician extender, later advancing to clinical coordinator where she further developed her skills in clinical oversight and program development.

In 2017, Janet transitioned to the education sector, serving as the Athletic Director for the Liberty Union Local School District. During this tenure, she championed student-athlete leadership, managed complex athletic programs, and strengthened community relations. Her foundational career also includes experience as an outreach athletic trainer for both Liberty Union and Fairfield Union schools.

Driven by her dedication to pediatric sports medicine and operational excellence, Janet returned to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 2026 to spearhead operations for the Sports Medicine department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine and Biology from Mount Union College and remains a certified and licensed athletic trainer committed to elevating care for young athletes.
