Biography

Jacqueline Warner, PhD, is a pediatric psychologist specializing in the care of children and adolescents with complex and persistent physical symptoms. Her clinical expertise includes pediatric pain, functional neurological symptoms, chronic illness, tic disorders, and ongoing physical discomfort such as chronic fatigue, dizziness, nausea, and weakness. She is dedicated to improving children’s comfort, daily functioning, and overall quality of life through evidence-based, developmentally sensitive care.

Dr. Warner is trained in interventions such as biofeedback and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), among other evidence-based treatments for youth and families navigating chronic health conditions. Her strengths-based, collaborative approach helps patients build resilience and gain confidence in managing their symptoms. Families often describe her as warm, easy to connect with, and clear in her guidance.

Beyond individual treatment, Dr. Warner is committed to driving sustainable, equity-centered innovation in pediatric healthcare. She values patients as experts in their own experiences and views providers as key agents of healing and system change. Her work focuses on designing programs and partnerships that integrate lived experience, clinical expertise, organizational science, and evidence-based care models.

Dr. Warner serves as Site Director for Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Comfort Ability Program and chairs the Pediatric Pain Special Interest Group (SIG) within the American Psychological Association’s Society of Pediatric Psychology. She also collaborates on clinical research teams working to expand access to innovative treatments for children with complex care needs.

She currently serves as Associate Clinical Director of Pediatric Psychology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she continues to lead efforts that center patient voice, clinical excellence, and rigorous clinical science.
