Hannah Banks, MS, CGC, is a laboratory genetic counselor for the Institute for Genomic Medicine Clinical Laboratory, which includes both a cytogenetics and molecular genetics laboratory and has previous experience in clinical oncology genetic counseling. She serves as a resource for health care providers regarding genetic testing, including the appropriate use of tests, limitations/accuracy of tests, possible testing outcomes, sample requirements, interpretation of results and follow up for cases with abnormal results. Hannah also assists in report writing, case review, database maintenance, teaching and development of new laboratory tests. Hannah serves as a program mentor to The Ohio State University genetic counseling students.
