Erik Sanders, ATC, CSCS, graduated with a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Cedarville University in 2012. He then earned a Master's degree in Kinesiology at Georgia Southern University while serving as a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer in the Sports Medicine department. For the next several years he worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Ohio Northern University and was able to develop his orthopedic skillset while providing care to the soccer, basketball, and football teams. He then transitioned to a performance clinic in Troy, Michigan, where he gained experience working in the clinic setting, assisting athletes of all different ages in post-operative rehab and also performance training. Erik is very excited to bring his skills and experience back home to Ohio to serve in the Play Strong program at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
