Biography

Emily Sentman, MD, is a general pediatrician and clinical informaticist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Sentman attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati and completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Colorado/Children’s Hospital Colorado in 2014. Dr. Sentman completed her clinical informatics fellowship at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 2023. She is board certified in General Pediatrics and Clinical Informatics. Dr. Sentman spends her clinical time in the pediatric Emergency Department. Her informatics interests include improving provider efficiency and clinical workflows and to improve the availability of pediatric content within the electronic health record so that providers caring for pediatric patients outside of pediatric-specific institutions have the tools that they need to more easily provide evidence-based care to children.
