Elizabeth Bonachea, MD, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the clinical division of Neonatology. She serves as the Director of Fellowship Education for the Department of Pediatrics as well as the Director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship. Her research interests include neonatal nephrology, equity-focused quality improvement, and curriculum design in graduate medical education. Her clinical interests include extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and neonatal renal replacement therapy. She was a founding leader of the Association of Pediatric Program Director's FUEL mentorship program and has served on the executive council of the Organization of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Training Program Directors.
