Biography

Dieudonne S. Nonga Makon, MD, (Dr. Nonga) is an attending pediatric gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, and his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, in New York. He then completed a surgical internship at University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by a pediatric residency at the St. Barnabas Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His sub-specialty training then included a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Le Bonheur’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis and a transplant hepatology fellowship at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Nonga’s clinical activities span all general pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition, with focus on pediatric liver diseases and pediatric liver transplantation.
