Debra Boyer, MD, MHPE, began her career at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 2021 as the Chief Medical Education Officer and Designated Institutional Official in addition to serving as a Transplant Pulmonologist in our Lung/Heart Lung Transplant Program. Dr. Boyer is a well-seasoned physician with experience in Pediatric Pulmonology and interest in cystic fibrosis, pulmonary graft versus host disease, vascular malformations and pediatric lung transplantation. For 19 years, Dr. Boyer was the Associate Medical Director of the Lung Transplant Program at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Boyer is a member of the American Thoracic Society, The Pediatric Pulmonary Training Director’s Association and the Association of Pediatric Program Directors.
